What I Learned
This project gave me end-to-end ownership of a real-world marketing initiative and sharpened key skills that I’ll carry into future roles:
-
Strategic Content Creation: I built the content calendar from scratch, learning how to turn complex topics like carbon tracking and municipal compliance into accessible, engaging posts.

-
Brand Voice & Messaging: I practiced maintaining a consistent tone across channels while adapting content to resonate with different audiences (e.g. LinkedIn vs. X).

-
Client Communication & Leadership: Presenting to a client team taught me how to clearly communicate strategy, walk through deliverables, and handle live feedback with confidence.

-
Cross-Disciplinary Thinking: This work sat at the intersection of marketing, climate policy, software, and civic innovation—showing me how to shape messaging that’s both technically accurate and emotionally compelling.
